Jonas Hiller made 28 saves for Anaheim, which was eliminated from playoff contention during the contest courtesy of wins by Dallas and Los Angeles. The Stars grabbed control of first place in the Pacific with a 3-1 win over Edmonton and the Sharks dropped to seventh place in the Western Conference standings. Ryane Clowe had a goal and Antti Niemi stopped 25-of-27 shots in the setback.
