Giants re-sign backup QB Carr

East Rutherford, NJ –  The New York Giants on Thursday re- signed backup quarterback David Carr.

Carr, entering his 11th NFL season, didn't throw a pass during team's 2011 championship season.

The former overall No. 1 draft choice has thrown for 14,433 yards with 65 touchdowns and 71 interceptions in 92 career games. Carr has spent time with the Texans. Panthers, 49ers and Giants.
