Spurs sign Dentmon to 10-day contract Mar 24th 2012, 16:38 San Antonio, TX –  The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard day contract. Dentmon appeared in 38 games for Austin of the NBA Development League this season and was averaging a team-best 22.9 points with 5.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds. The D-League All-Star scored at least 20 points in 28 games. The former University of Washington star has averaged 20.7 points, 4.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 88 career D-League games. San Antonio also released forward Eric Dawson, who had signed a second 10-day contract on March 16. Dawson, a San Antonio native, averaged 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in four games for the Spurs.
