Missoula, MT – A University of Montana student filed a police report that alleges Grizzlies quarterback Jordan Johnson raped her, according to a report Tuesday.
The Missoulian newspaper reported the woman filed the complaint late Friday afternoon, adding that a week earlier she received a temporary restraining order against Johnson, which forbids him from coming within 1,500 feet of her or her home, and from threatening or harassing her.
Johnson was scheduled to appear in Missoula Municipal Court on Tuesday for a hearing. He denied the allegations, through his attorney, David Paoli, the newspaper said.
Johnson, a sophomore from Eugene, Ore., helped Montana post an 11-3 record, win a share of the Big Sky championship and reach the FCS semifinals last season.
