With six at home, Campbell hopes to build off winning season Mar 20th 2012, 15:18 Buies Creek, NC –  Campbell University will play six home games in 2012 as it tries to build off its first winning season as an FCS program. Last year, the Camels finished 6-5 under coach Dale Steele in their fourth season since reinstating the program. Campbell will kick off the season by hosting a pair of non-FCS programs, Shorter on Aug. 30 and Virginia-Wise on Sept. 8. The Camels' other home games are within the Pioneer Football League against Drake (Sept. 29), Davidson (Oct. 20), Valparaiso (Nov. 3) and Marist (Nov. 17).
