| Raptors' Bayless likely out for season Mar 28th 2012, 00:11 Toronto, ON – Raptors point guard Jerryd Bayless is expected to miss the final month of the season due to a partially torn left oblique muscle. Bayless, in his first full season with the Raptors, sat out two games because of a hip pointer, then left Monday's game against the Magic in the second quarter and did not return. The 23-year-old guard started five games from March 11-17 and averaged 21.8 points and 7.6 assists. In 31 games this season, the Arizona product logged a career-high 11.4 points and 3.8 assists per outing. Toronto acquired Bayless in a five-player deal with the Hornets in November 2010. | |
