FCS champ Bison open spring drills Saturday Mar 23rd 2012, 21:08 Fargo, ND –  Reigning FCS champion North Dakota State University will begin spring football drills on Saturday, leading up to its intrasquad game on April 21. Coach Craig Bohl will lead the Bison through the first of 15 spring sessions on Dacotah Field. The annual Green-Gold game will played at the Fargodome. North Dakota State completed a 14-1 season by winning the program's first NCAA Division I Football Championship, 17-6 over Sam Houston State on Jan. 7. Sam Houston State began its spring football on Wednesday in Huntsville, Texas. The Bearkats' Orange-White game will be held April 18.
