Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp left Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
In the first inning, Kemp walked with two outs then scored when Andre Ethier hit a double to the gap in left center.
Kemp then went to the dugout and smashed a bat over his leg before walking into the locker room and was replaced by Tony Gwynn.
The team said later that he re-aggravted the strained left hamstring that landed him on the disabled list on May 14, which he was activated from on Tuesday.
He will have an MRI exam on Thursday.
The National League's player of the month in April, Kemp is hitting .355 this season with 12 home runs and 28 RBI for the first-place Dodgers.
