| Brewers edge Dodgers May 29th 2012, 03:42 Milwaukee, WI – Aramis Ramirez homered and knocked in two runs as the Milwaukee Brewers edged the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2, in the first test of a four-game series at Dodger Stadium. Shaun Marcum (3-3) allowed one run on six hits and two walks while striking out nine through seven innings to earn the win. John Axford stranded the tying run on second in the ninth to record his eighth save of the year. Rickie Weeks also had an RBI for the Brewers, who snapped a two-game slide for their third win in five games. Aaron Harang (3-3) gave up three runs -- one earned -- on four hits and three walks in five-plus innings to suffer the loss. Andre Ethier and Jerry Hairston Jr. each had two hits and an RBI for Los Angeles, which had won its previous two games. | |
