Ravens lose Suggs to Achilles injury May 3rd 2012, 15:25 Owings Mills, MD –  Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has reportedly suffered an Achilles injury that could force him to miss the entire 2012 season. Various reports, including ESPN and 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, had indicated that Suggs was hurt while playing basketball. There had also been speculation that he suffered a torn Achilles, which would likely sideline him for the entire season, but the severity of the injury and exactly how it occurred have not been verified. The Ravens have not commented officially, but the team's website said Suggs will visit a foot specialist early next week Suggs was the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2011. He helped the Ravens to a record of 12-4 and an AFC North title, recording 14 sacks with 70 tackles, seven forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions.
