Defending Olympic champion to appeal Austalian team exclusion Jun 5th 2012, 12:39 BRISBANE, Australia –  Olympic champion Emma Snowsill says she will appeal the decision to exclude her from the Australian team at the London Games. Snowsill has not competed for much of the year due to injury and illness. The Australian Olympic Committee has selected three other women for the team, including Emma Moffatt, who won a bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Snowsill says she regrets if her appeal will affect others, but says in a statement that was posted on her website, "I feel it is a matter of importance that I take all avenues available to me to achieve my dream of competing at a second Olympic Games."
