United announces Kagawa signing Jun 5th 2012, 16:25 Manchester, England –  After weeks of speculation, Manchester United confirmed Tuesday that it has agreed to sign Shinji Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund. The deal is only subject to a medical and Kagawa receiving a UK work permit. Kagawa has enjoyed a great deal of success at Dortmund after joining the German club from Cerezo Osaka in 2010. The 23-year-old helped guide the Borussians to back-to-back Bundesliga titles over the last two seasons as well as the Pokal Cup in May. "Further details will be announced in due course," United said in a statement.
