Bumgarner (4-1) scattered six hits and punched out six to earn his fourth consecutive victory. Santiago Casilla worked around a two-out walk in the ninth to record his fourth save of the year. Pablo Sandoval belted a solo shot in the first and Joaquin Arias added a two- run triple in the sixth for the Giants, who have won two straight. Clayton Richard (1-3) was charged with all four runs on eight hits over seven innings in the start. Chris Denorfia clubbed an RBI double to account for the lone San Diego run as the Padres dropped two straight after winning the opener of the series and continue to search for their first series win of the season. | |
