Gonzalez defeats Hirales to retain belt Apr 29th 2012, 07:06 Pomona, CA –  Roman Gonzalez scored a fourth-round knockout of Ramon Hirales to keep his WBA junior flyweight title on Saturday. The 24-year-old Gonzalez (32-0, 27 KOs) defeated the 29-year-old southpaw Hirales (16-4-1, 9 KOs) in his third title defense. Hirales has dropped two consecutive fights and three of his last four.
