Royals-Twins postponed because of rain
Apr 28th 2012, 18:19

Minneapolis, MN –  Saturday's game between the Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins was postponed because of rain.

The contest has been rescheduled for June 30 as part of a day-night doubleheader. The opener of the twinbill will start at 1 p.m. (et), while the regularly-scheduled nightcap will start at 7:10 p.m.

Jason Marquis was expected to make Saturday's start for Minnesota, while Bruce Chen was slated to take the ball for Kansas City.

The Royals won Friday's series-opener, 7-6, sending the Twins to their sixth straight loss.
